My name is Kelly Combs and I am a native of Fredericksburg, Va., born and bred. I grew up in the 80’s when Fredericksburg was a small rural town, and I had the joy of evolving from a child to an adult on a farm with a single mother and a sister, learning firsthand what hard work really meant. On my mother’s side, I am a third-generation builder and my grandfather developed most of south Stafford County, so I have been exposed to homes, building, and real estate my entire life. I have watched firsthand the growth that the Fredericksburg area has undergone. I attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., and after doing a study-abroad in Florence, Italy, I decided to dual major in Art History and Interior Design because of my love for the arts. I graduated magna cumlaude and began my professional career as a custom granite designer in the kitchen and bath remodeling industry in Northern Virginia. I was successful in my career and purchased my first home at the age of 23. I spent 15 years in the kitchen and bath remodeling industry, and in 2012 I decided to pursue a new career as a real estate agent, which over the years has proven to be my one true career passion.
